Cascade Centers, Inc. is a private corporation which has been providing phone counseling, crisis intervention services, and face to face counseling for 36 years. We currently serve over 250 corporations including local, state, and federal agencies that total over 420,000 covered lives. Cascade provides a comprehensive program with a focus on customer service.

All of our staff at the Oregon Military Assistance Helpline is specially trained and experienced in helping Veterans and possess a strong understanding of the serious issues that can impact service members and their families. Some of our counselors are Veterans themselves and understand what Veterans and their families have been through and the challenges that veterans face.

The Oregon Military Assistance Helpline connects Veterans in crisis and their families with qualified, caring counselors 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year.
While there are many excellent resources available to Service Members, understanding which ones are needed and how to access services can be confusing and daunting, particularly as a Service Member is reintegrating and potentially facing unprecedented stressors.
This confusion coupled with concerns about confidentiality discourages many Service Members from accessing services at all.
Service Members and their families need a “resource expert” to help them navigate the myriad services available to them, both military and civilian. As an Oregon-based provider with over 36 years experience providing resources and referrals, Cascade has become an expert in providing our members with appropriate resources. Whether a service member needs crisis support, parenting support, marital counseling, post-traumatic stress, medical help, psychiatric medication, help preparing a will, or financial counseling, Cascade will identify the most appropriate resource.
Anonymous, Free, Confidential Help
The cornerstone of Cascade’s Assistance Program is confidentiality. Complete confidentiality is guaranteed at all times to the extent allowed by law. In order to guarantee such confidentiality, Cascade Centers does not divulge any information to anyone without the individual's written consent or a legal requirement to do so. This is an important promise we make to service members.
Accessing help is an act of courage and strength.
Cascade will provide to Oregon National Guard service members, veterans, and family members a comprehensive service that assesses, identifies, and links the service member or family member with the most appropriate resource, whether military, civilian, or contained within the Oregon Military Assistance Helpline.
Service members have one access point; they make only one call for all services. There is no automated telephone system. When a service member calls in, they will talk with a live person within 30 seconds – no wait time.
